Yes, that's right... While the original date was supposedly just an approximation,
the baby's release to world date continues to slip... sigh.
In other news, it snowed again here in North Carolina, a full 2 inches. Of course,
this means the entire region was thrown into chaos. People were running somehow
running off the road while still only going 20 mph, the movie tonight was interrupted
no less than 5 times to update the populace - to tell us the situation remains the
same, mind you... oy, it's all totally ridiculous.
If Godzilla himself came out of the ocean off the NC coast and promptly made a beeline
for the state capital of Raleigh, it was get less play on tv than the winter “storm”;
you can take that to the bank my friends.
In yet more news, I've gotten piles referrals for my “Get
rid of file extensions” - a metric pile more than any other post.
There's some sort of google magic going on there, I have yet to explain it... maybe
I just need to get back on the Longhorn train. It'll be interesting to see if
this post gets as many hits, now that I've just mentioned the title... time will tell.
Yeah, in case you can't tell, I haven't had much to say lately that everyone else
isn't already saying, or someone else hasn't already said. Fact is, I find myself
working in the the smallest big business I've heard of... they've got all the problems
of a big corporate bureaucracy, and all the limitations of a shallow, wide org chart.
Yes, my life is a sitcom - but a boring one that you might find on one of the BBC
channels, or perhaps Bravo.
