Some time ago, I promised you that I'd keep up with the blog, more or less... I've let that slip lately, and I vow not to let it happen again... not until the baby is born, anyway. At least I've managed to fix my archive bug, and I was able to do so without touching the database or ASP code... +1 for architecture -1 for missing it to begin with.
I got my PDC ID card in the mail today, further adding to the excitement of what is
to come. I liken it to getting the first Christmas card of the holiday season... it
comes a little too early to get really excited, but brings a smile to your face all
the same. In other PDC news, I was able to set my schedule for the week, and it doesn't
appear that I'll be missing anything I wanted to see. I've fit in all the ASP.Net/Whidbey/Indigo
I wanted, and even left room for some Longhorn, Yukon, and Avalon... with MSBuild,
of course.
Not much else to talk about right now... spent the last week out of town getting sucked
into the world Stellent's content server; it
reeks of the mid-90's in its complexity and intuitiveness, somewhat like ASP.Classic
1.0. It does have the ability to talk in SOAP however, so I'm just going to *have*
to create a .Net library to sit on top of it.
As if my project list wasn't long enough yet.
